VW Shows off the new Touran
Later this month in Paris, VW will publicly unveil the latest iteration of its Touran compact MPV. The seven-seater gets a new Passat/Eos-style face that features VW’s new grille and headlamp designs. A walk around back reveals a redesigned bumper and new taillamps. BMW to introduce first hydrogen powered luxury car
German automaker BMW AG said Tuesday it will introduce the world’s first hydrogen-powered luxury performance car.Know as the Hydrogen 7, the car will be built in a limited edition in Europe and will be sold to the U.S. market, the company said in a statement. Scania says it has `reasonable grounds’ to expect takeover bid from MAN
Shares of Scania AB rose more than nine per cent before its shares were halted from trading Tuesday amid reports that MAN AG was considering a takeover bid that could combine two of Europe’s largest truckmakers.

Chevrolet Launches The New 2007 Aveo Sedan
The all-new 2007 Chevy Aveo sedan is full of surprising features not normally found in entry-level vehicles, so it’s no surprise that Chevrolet is rejecting traditional methods to introduce the all-new sedan today.

Volkswagen of America, Inc. is the industry’s most environmentally friendly automaker according to J.D. Power and Associates’ just-released, 2006 “Alternative Powertrain Study, †which includes the Automotive Environmental Index. Volkswagen places three products on the automotive researcher’s list of low emission vehicles—including the Golf, Jetta and New Beetle.
