Chevrolet Launches The New 2007 Aveo Sedan

gatewayservlet.jpgThe all-new 2007 Chevy Aveo sedan is full of surprising features not normally found in entry-level vehicles, so it’s no surprise that Chevrolet is rejecting traditional methods to introduce the all-new sedan today.

At 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, Chevy will launch the Aveo sedan to media via a live webcast from Seldom Blues restaurant at GM’s Renaissance Center in Detroit. This special webcast will feature remarks from Ed Peper, Chevy general manager; and Cheryl Catton, Chevy car marketing director. Volkswagen Ranks Highest In J.D. Powers Environmental Index

vw.jpgVolkswagen of America, Inc. is the industry’s most environmentally friendly automaker according to J.D. Power and Associates’ just-released, 2006 “Alternative Powertrain Study, ” which includes the Automotive Environmental Index. Volkswagen places three products on the automotive researcher’s list of low emission vehicles—including the Golf, Jetta and New Beetle. The new line of wheels includes the 17-inch Almach, 18-inch Eridanus, 18-inch Armida, 19-inch Denebola and, the crown prince of Mercedes wheels, the 20-inch Alaraph (shown). Alfa Romeo 8C Competitzione hits the web

alfa-romeo-8c.jpgThe production version of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competitzione makes its debut in a couple of weeks at the Paris auto show, but thanks to Spanish site km77.com, photos and details are out on the web for all to see.The car is driven by a Maserati-sourced aluminum 4.7L V8 making 450 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of twist. A six-speed gearbox with paddle shifters channels power to the rear wheels and can also be operated in full automatic mode. Like the engine, the car’s suspension is also a refugee from Maserati.
